FPP Community Mentoring
In each community the population elects 30 zone and group leaders. They do not see themselves as volunteers for CFL. They understand that they work in favor of themselves, not in favor of CFL, and for their own benefit. As that new and motivated leadership starts getting involved communities realize that they can find solutions for their own problems through interactive ways of decision making.
The process itself helps the community to take ownership of both the problem and the solutions. This community mobilization improves program success and sustainability.
