Charitable Service Initiatives

Traditional Birth Attendant Support

Care For Life Volunteers have produced more than 6,000 birthing kits containing materials such as clean cloth, soap, and plastic to aid the delivery of babies in unsanitary conditions. TBA support was the founding project for Care For Life.

Orphanage Support

CFL provides assistance to two orphanages in the Beira area, Colegio Infantil and ASSEM. Help ranges from volunteer services and teaching to financial, medical, and maintenance. Included in this support is the "Milk Fund." Click here for more info.

Milk Distribution

Care for Life is partnering with an organization called Muchassacana. They are a local Mozambican organization that work with women who are HIV positive and have infants. Muchassacana provides emotional support to the mothers and monitoring of the babies. The mothers can not breast feed the babies due to their HIV infection. Care for life provides Milk for those infants until they are 2 years old.
