They possess the ability to effectively inspire and mobilize people in the villages, as well the ability to perform thorough follow-up to track the families’ progress. Care for Life leaders are people-centered, integrated, and focus on self-reliant development in their efforts to promote Care for Life’s mission to alleviate suffering, promote self-reliance and instill hope.

Solomão Malidadi Mozambique National Director
Solomão has been with Care for Life since 2006 and directs all of Care for Life’s operations in Mozambique. Solomão worked for many years in marketing and sales, but he yearned to have more meaning in his professional life. It was at that point that he joined Care for Life.

Tobias Antonio Jone Income Generation & Agriculture and Food Security & Nutrition
Tobias is responsible for the Income Generation & Agriculture and Food Security & Nutrition sectors of the Family Preservation Program for all the villages Care for Life works with. Tobias has been with Care for Life since 2006 and enjoys teaching the families the benefits of nutrition, planting of family gardens and generating personal income through application of Care for Life’s business instructions. He thrives on seeing change in people’s lives. He is married and is the father of two children.

Ana Micas Health & Hygiene and Sanitation
Ana Micas is responsible for the Family Health and Sanitation sectors of the Family Preservation Program for all the villages Care for Life works with. She has been with Care for Life since its inception. She approached Cindy Packard in 2000 asking if she could offer her nursing skills for free at a local clinic station that Care for Life set up.

Adilson Abdala Psycho-Social Well-Being and Orphans/Vulnerable Children
Adilson is responsible for the Psycho-Social Well-Being of the families as well as for the well-being of the Orphans/Vulnerable Children. Adilson started working for Care for Life in 2009, when the Family Preservation Program started in Nhamatanda, a very poor district of the Sofala Province, 90 kilometers distant from Beira. Very soon Adilson was distinguished by his love for the families and especially for children. His vision, enthusiasm, and hard work qualified him to be called to work at the headquarters in Beira.

Celestino Benjamim Fombe Education
Celestino is co-responsible for the Education sector of the Family Preservation Program for all the villages Care for Live works with. He has been with Care for Life since 2002 and enjoys teaching and learning with the families. He is a poet and writer and believes in the power of education. He is married and the father of one child.

Marta Antonio Mondlane Education
Marta is co-responsible for the Education sector of the Family Preservation Program for all the villages Care for Life works with. Marta has been with Care for Life since 2007 and enjoys helping the families improve their lives and for them to become self-sufficient. She has been responsible for the PsychoSocial Well-being & Orphans/Vulnerable Children sectors for four years and has just recently made co-responsible for the Education sector. She is the mother of four children.

Rachid Abasse Adenane Community Participation and Home Improvement
Rachid is responsible for Community Participation and Home Improvement and has been working for Care for Life since 2007. Rachid was born in Maputo. He is married and has two children. Rachid is a charismatic and self-motivated leader and is especially talented at communicating with community leaders and families.
