Tarimba and FPP and a man
I was intrigued by the description Moises, our data entry specialist in Beira Mozambique, gave of a tarimba this morning:
It is a wooden table that
a man (um homem)
makes to put stuff on to keep it off the ground.
Hmm. A man makes.
Could that be part of what FPP is doing for families and communities? Getting the "a man" excited about home improvement?
By the way, Moises and I thought bigger this morning. We thought China. Think India. Think Bolivia. And we discovered what we really want to know is:
Têm uma mesa ou tarimba na familia?
A table. Nothing more and nothing less.
That was good to finally discover.
